The Los Angeles Fire Dept.'s Best

Working with the Los Angeles Fire Dept. (LAFD) is an amazing opportunity, and a real challenge, for anyone in the field of firefighting. Los Angeles is a sprawling city full of structures that need to be protected and with no shortage of serious fire hazards made more serious by our Mediterranean desert climate. That’s why it makes sense that Fire Protection Group Inc. would attract two of the most respected veterans of the LAFD to its ranks: retired chief Al Hernandez and Captain Bob Holloway.

Mr. Hernandez spent many of his years on the fire department as a building inspector, ensuring that properties were fully compliant with all codes and regulations before being promoted to the level of chief, leading the department’s Fire Prevention Bureau. While there, he practiced an approach that encouraged a cooperative approach between LAFD officials and members of the business community. Before 2012, Captain Holloway was a widely respected member of the LAFD who was in charge of construction services, where he was involved with approving and overseeing a wide variety of building projects throughout the city of Los Angeles.

Together with our lead engineer and general manager, George Saadian, these two amazing LAFD veterans and the rest of our team are here to provide outstanding service to owners and managers of all kinds of business and residential properties. With our deep and long experience of firefighting and fire prevention, we are here to help our clients achieve full compliance with all types of fire-related codes and regulations, while also ensuring maximum safety. At the same time, we understand that the bottom line is also important, so we pride ourselves on achieving these goals as efficiently as possible.
